Tell us...
1. who is Telma Mota?
A creative person who studied economics and became a jeweler.

2. have you become what you wanted to be when you grew up?

Considering that I've always enjoyed creative works, yes. In fact I never had a very definite idea of what I wanted to be when I was a child, but I love what I do now that I grew up.

3. what inspires you to create?

There are many things that inspire me to create, the nature, colors, materials, something I saw on the street, a book…

Share with us...
4. your artistic media of choice.
I especially use copper wire but also silver and gemstones. The copper wire is my first choice because it is adaptable to the technique that I use (the crochet), has a variety of colors and allows me to create more affordable pieces.

5. the favorite corner of your workspace.
I like all the corners of my workspace, and when I don’t, I change it, so my workspace is a work in progress and today may not be the same as tomorrow.

6. a day at work.
I do not have a typical working day. But on most days I start to see the emails, answer questions or prepare orders, labels or packaging and this occupies most of my morning, in the afternoon I usually do jewelry (new or replacements) and sometimes this work goes on after dinner.

7. a business tip.
Be yoursel.

8. an advice to your younger you.
I think I still need advice for me, but be persistent, believe in you and work work work…

9. a plan to the future.
Learn more and grow my brand is the most important. And maybe one day I can realize the dream of having a studio / gallery open to the public.

Let us know...
10. a personality that influences you.
My family, close friends and boyfriend influence and inspire me every day.

11. a book you think everyone should read.
More than a specific book, I think everyone should read a book.

12. an unforgetable movie.
I liked many movies but I did not highlight any in particular, I like movies that transmit something to me when I see them.

13. a music that couldn't miss in the perfect playlist.
At least in my favorite playlist: I Look to you - Whitney Houston

14. a city to fall in love with.
Barcelona (I fell in love in 2011 and since then I wish to go back).

15. a favorite food and drink.
Chocolate and tea or water.

16. a guilty pleasure.
Good food.
