Depois de ter publicado no facebook a foto do meu almoço numa das últimas semanas, houve alguns curiosos a perguntar pela receita... desde que descobri que a courgette fica deliciosa cortada em fatias finas no forno que tenho experimentado algumas variantes - esta é apenas uma delas, inspirem-se e façam outras combinações!
Courgette em camadas no forno
i n g r e d i e n t e s (2 pessoas)
2 courgettes pequenas
cerca de 8 fatias de mortadela, chourição, paio ou equivalente, conforme o gosto
2 tomates-chucha
2 dentes de alho
azeite q.b.
sal e pimenta q.b.
queijo ralado q.b.
c o n f e c ç ã o
Cortar as courgettes em fatias longitudinais o mais finas possível. Fatiar o alho. Cortar os tomates às rodelas
Dispor em camadas alternadas, num recipiente pequeno quadrado que possa ir ao forno: azeite, alho fatiado, courgettes, tomate, sal e pimenta, fatias de mortadela - repetir até terminarem os ingredientes, sendo a última camada de courgette (deverão ser 3 no total). Cobrir com queijo ralado e levar ao forno cerca de 20 minutos, até o queijo derreter e a courgette começar a ficar tostada.
Servir com arroz branco. Bom apetite!

After publishing on facebook a photo of my lunch in the past few weeks, there were some curious asking for the recipe... since I discovered that courgette is delicious thinly sliced in the oven, I have tried a few variants - this is just one of them, find here inspiration to try other combinations!
Layered courgette in the oven
i n g r e d i e n t s (for 2)
2 small courgettes
about 8 slices of mortadella or equivalent, according to taste
2 tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
olive oil as needed
olive oil as needed
salt and pepper as needed
grated cheese as needed
c o n f e c t i o n
Cut the courgettes into slices, lengthwise, as thin as possible. Slice the garlic and the tomatoes.
Arrange in alternate layers in a small square container that can go in the oven: olive oil, sliced garlic, courgettes, tomatoes, salt and pepper, slices of mortadella - repeat until ingredients are finished, being the last layer of courgette (should be 3 in total). Cover with grated cheese and bake about 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and courgettes start getting toasted.
Serve with white rice. Enjoy!
